Cory’s Ideal/Current Life
How would your life be like if it was a 10 out of 10? It would mean all of my dreams have been fulfilled; all of my goals, essentially, realized. What are your passions? Music, writing (songs / poetry), illustration, fitness, martial arts
What excites you about your day? Having a plan! That is the big first. Without a plan, there is no direction. Without direction, there can be no chance of reaching your goals.
What are your authentic goals, ones that make you, and no one else, happy? Two main goals… 1. Finish my musical project, and get it out there, perform it live. Make a career. That would make me happy. However, people may find joy in my product, too. 2. Get my body where I envision it, and market it (modelling). Use the end-product of my labors to inspire others to live fit, and strive for their best. What inspires you? Anything. Be it a place with a special atmosphere, a time period, thought / memory. People, of course, also inspire me — especially those ahead of me in the goals I pursue, who seem to be on a similar path.
What would be the milestones in your life? Releasing my first record. Playing my first show with that project. Those are a good start, they would grow larger scale from there (like touring). What hobbies would you continue enjoying? Start doing? Music, art, writing, martial arts, fitness, and astronomy.
What are you guilty pleasures? Are they really “guilty”? Junk food. However, that can be a plus in keeping my metabolism revved in my fitness goals. I don’t mean binging all the time, but now and then.
Where would you travel? What would you do? Not much of a traveller, unless my work takes me somewhere for its furtherment.
What do you do that has you feeling fulfilled? Joyful? Music and bodybuilding.
What would it take to touch your heart? Happens all the time. It can be as simple as a powerful song, or a simple act of kindness (not necessarily towards me, but witnessed). The possiblities are varied.
What foods do you savor? Desserts? Indian and Thai, top two favorites. Desserts — anything baked, not so much candies.
What pets would you own? I own five birds, and love them to death. That said, I have had cats, dogs, hamsters, and rabbits. All very special.
What would your relationship be like with nature? Love / hate. I love nature — the look, smells, sounds, feeling… but my allergies do not. I rather enjoy it from afar, or in photographs. That being said, Autumn is a big influence in my writing, with Winter taking second place. Mostly due to the atmosphere of those seasons, and their poetic representations relative to my subject-matter.
Kevin’s Dream that Already Happened
I close my eyes and feel the air permeating my lungs. In the darkness, I become present to all the wonderful gifts love has provided me. A soft touch on my toes and I open my eyes. My lover, Debbie, is already awake and have been comforting me in my sleep with her warm caress. We have been married for a year now and our love grows stronger with each passing day. I reach over to rub her belly under the sheets. She is one month pregnant and I can already feel the life growing within. I pause to let that moment soak in.
As Debbie eagerly gets ready for work, I run upstairs to my second floor tenant family to share homemade pastries with them. They are not my best creations but the kids are delighted. The parents thank us for the treats. Both Debbie and I take the train together and being to share our morning thoughts. After we reach our departure point, we kiss and embrace each other. We declare our intentions for the day by whispering in each other’s ears. We do not stress because whatever that we declared has already happened.
When I arrive at work, I am happy to see the people that support me in keeping the company strong. We are all on the same boat and every one rows. After work, I go to gym while Debbie takes her dance class. We meet up afterwards to have dinner with her parents. They are happy because they worked out their differences. During dinner, we call up Brian, Debbie’s brother in college. He is happy to hear our voices and misses us all. After our meal, we hug Debbie’s parents and head home. It was a nice night.
As we drift off in bed, I tell Debbie how fortunate I am to have her in my life. We share our intimate thoughts while we hug. As I close my eyes and dream, I feel her warmth. I wake up in my dreams and realize that everything I’ve every wanteed has already happened. In my dreams, Debbie is already caressing me with her eyes.
Brian’s Passion
I’ve always wanted to fire a gun. Like my peers, Ive grown up playing the Call of Duty games and other shooting games. I’ve always imagined myself as the main characters as they went about their missions. I’ve read and heard about what it would be like to shoot a real gun. However, simulations can only get you so far and Youtube videos of other people shooting guns were varied in terms of a reaction.
When I fired the Glock 9 for the first time, the feeling was amazing. Physically I had fired a gun with the capability to go far with an unbelievable strength. Mentally, all the insecurities about me firing them disappeared and I finally knew what firing a weapon was really about. Nobody would ever have to tell me their own experiences because I had my own and I would no longer have to imagine what soldiers felt when they fired their guns.
Next time, when someone starts to argue with me about how guns shoot, I will ask them, “Have you ever fired a gun?”
Yu’s Dream Life
Debbie’s Sparkled Life
I am living the life of my dreams.
I am in a relationship with the man of my dreams. He is faithful, loyal and trustworthy. He treats melike a princess, and I treat him like a king. I can count on him for anything. He is inspiring and empowering, as well as charismatic. Heinspires me to be a better woman every day. He is influential and assertive, a rulebreaker when the time calls for it. He empowers me to be my best. It washim who motivated me to take on dancing again, which had alwaysone of my childhood passions. He likes to make a difference with thosearound him. I am always attracted to him. The way he walks – he’s gotswagger! – the way he talks – he’s got game! – the way he looks me in the eyeand makes me feel special…I feel so taken care of and pampered when I’m withhim, not to mention, so in love.
He’s ambitious in his career, and always thirsts for the truth, as well as selfdevelopment.
He’s great withwords…the communication between us is like poetry and song at its deepestcore.
He treatsboth his own family and mine very well. He is very respectful andcaring to them. He is my Prince Charming. With him, there is always anexciting ending, a happily ever after. With him, I know we are safe andsecure, and I am in good hands. He is an alpha male bundle of love. I canhardly believe that I finally found my soul mate.
We go on vacationevery few months. We went to Barcelona, other parts of Spain, Portugal andFrance. It was the trip of a lifetime. We also went on a cruise by theCarribean a few months ago. Every day with him is nothing short of an excitingadventure. He knows what it means – the gift of being alive and making thepresent count. We explore rare parts of the city together. We try out alldifferent sorts of food and various cuisines. We go wine and dine, and alsocheck out the local little eats. I weigh 115 pounds because of his support. Itell him when I need to stop eating, and he holds me to it. It works out reallywell. We do spontaneous things also.
When we havedifferences in opinion, we sit down and find ways to make it a win win. There is no lasting need to be right… only the possibility tobe love. We both see breakdowns as just another opportunity to havea breakthrough in our relationshis. In fact, we’ve come to both welcomebreakdowns. We see solutions in terms of the relationship, not on an individuallevel.
Above everything, weare the best of friends.

Eggs benedict, Korean food… yum! We also havehomemade Chinese food whenever we want. We have cooking fests, too. In April, we went to Central Park and took so many pictures by thecherry blossoms. In July, we went on a hot air balloon ride.
I have a bffrelationship with my mother. She took PD – all 3 parts. She’s finally become apromoter supporter, but still retains her logical side. She is HAPPY with herlife. She is pursuing her own hobbies and interests.
